Lillian Warrum

Lillian Warrum is known for her grace, refinement and sophistication as a young evolving Odissi dancer. She has been dancing classical dance styles since the age of four. She trained as a classical ballerina from a young age and later fell in love with the enchanting melodies and grace of Odissi dance and music. Lillian began intensive Odissi dance training in 2011 in India and later moved to Melbourne to study with her current teacher Monica Singh Sangwan, founder of the Sohamasmi Centre for Performing Arts. Lillian graduated from the University of Queensland with a dual Bachelor degree in Social Science/Arts and an Honours degree in Anthropology in 2010. She also completed a graduate diploma in Sanskrit language at the Australian National University in 2016, and is currently completing her Masters degree in Teaching. Lillian lives in Melbourne where she continues to learn, perform and teach dance. She has performed Odissi dance in India, South Africa and throughout Australia.
